I am of the opinion that boat salespeople are one notch above used car salesmen (or is that one notch below?). Furthermore, I am one of the most distrusting skeptical people that you will ever meet. That being said, I can tell you that I have found a group of “boat salespeople” that I would trust my life to. I will not say that my entire experience from the start to today has been a blissful bed of roses, but I will say that in EVERY case Robbie did what was right for *me* instead of what would give him a short term gain.
I am not going to go into the specifics of the negative issues because they are not important because of Robbie’s reaction to them. I will tell you this – I have had a sporadic problem with my autopilot from almost the beginning. Eventually the manufacturer’s warranty expired and they told me I was on my own. But Robbie stood behind me, kept working on it, and ultimately helped me get it fixed long after the warranty expired. Robbie and his crew are just simply genuine big hearted people that love sailing and boating and love sharing their love with others. Do yourself a favor – stop in and get to know them. Your life will be enriched by the experience!
