Welcome aboard Ken Monaghan! Ken has been racing sailboats, big boats and One Design competitively for many years and a few years ago he made a career change to do every day, what he loves and entered the world of yacht sales. By combining his many years in engineering and sales in conjunction with his accomplishments on the water he has found his magic quadrant!

Ken was introduced to boats, both power and sail at young age. His specific love of being on the water drove him towards competitive sailing, which he’s been doing for 40 years. He is part of many great and successful Seattle based sailing programs and is an active member of Seattle and Corinthian Yacht Clubs along with the Center for Wooden Boats and the Lyman Boat Owners Association.

Ken spent his college years working on boats in Kodiak, Alaska while involved in the fishing industry, salmon, halibut and crab as way to pay for his education at Western Washington University. He has made multiple trips up and down the Inside passage and across the Gulf of Alaska as deckhand/mate of large commercial fishing vessels.

One of his favorite adventures was sailing back from Hawaii, the 2012 Vic Maui Race aboard Terremoto, the Riptide 35’ designed by the infamous Paul Bieker.

Ken is excited about being part of Signature Yachts! He is eager to assist you to turn your dreams into reality, both Power and Sail!
