This year we’ve had several enquiries from people wanting to know if we can offer a fast track version of the RYA Day Skipper course, or any of our RYA courses for that matter.
The answer, yes, we can.
Whilst we have our list of courses and available dates which you can browse here, we understand that these won’t always be suitable times for everyone who wants to learn.
Because of this, we can offer bespoke packages to fit around your schedule and time.
For example, it could be that you wish to complete a path of RYA courses inside of one month. If we have the availability to suit you, then there’s no reason why we can put a schedule of courses together for you to complete one after another.
And this could include a fast track version of the RYA Day Skipper, combining both the practical and theory courses into one schedule.
In order to complete the RYA Day Skipper fast track (practical and theory), you will need to have completed Competent Crew, or be able to sail to the same standard. We will also want you to have sailed for 5 days, 100 miles, and 4 night hours. If you haven’t done this, we can add Competent Crew to the start of the schedule, then a couple of weekends sailing, potentially with a France Channel hop, which will fast track you through to Day Skipper.
