As an award-winning dealership and brokerage today, Signature Yachts continues and builds on an outstanding reputation begun with its founding in1989 as a yacht importer. In the decades since, adjusting sails to meet shifting winds, it has evolved into the premier Northwest seller of Beneteau sailing yachts and Fountaine Pajot catamarans and a leading broker of pre-owned sailing and power yachts.

Words of its founder still provide guidance and inspiration:
“We don’t sell boats,” said Robbie Robinson. “We help people buy them and then we back them with the best service in the business. The basis upon which we do this is called QSIV—Quality, Service, Integrity and Value. It is the basis of our history. It is also the foundation of our future.”

That future now lies in the hands of co-owners Tori Parrott and Dixie McCullough, who have successfully led Signature through challenging times since Robbie’s passing in 2019. In addition to their literal oceans of sailing experience and business acumen, they know their success depends on acquiring and keeping a strong team.

Sales

Rick Luce’s passion for boating started at an early age on the Rivers and Lakes of Wisconsin. He spent his early years fishing and boating on the chain of lakes surrounding his childhood home before exploring the Lake Michigan for Trout and Salmon. He moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2000 to work in the Aquaculture industry, helping create solutions to problems associated with net pen fish farming. Working with First Nation leaders, he learned the environmental and cultural importance of the Puget Sound and its resources.

Rick also had a second passion. He loved the adventure of the open roads on Motorcycles. In fact, he has ridden over 200,000 miles throughout the country. He turned that passion into a 20-year career with Harley-Davidson, helping customers explore the best of life. He is often heard saying that he had the one product where his customers could open the garage door and pick a direction. Not knowing what would be in-store, where they would eat and who they would meet. True to Harley-Davidson, it’s the adventure, not the destination.

After 20 years with Harley-Davidson, Rick was looking to get back to the water and he had a dream of Sailing the PNW and beyond. During his search for a Sailboat of his own, he met the owners of Signature Yachts and became a member of the team. Working as a yacht broker has allowed Rick to meet industry professionals, travel to manufacture’s factories to learn about boat construction and maintenance; work with surveyors and perform sea trials along with taking care of day-to-day needs of his customers. Signature Yachts Wonderful to Work With

My wife and I ordered a Beneteau 51.1 a year ago from Signature Yachts in Seattle. We, of course, were caught in the middle of the “supply chain tango” and our boat finally arrived last November. The entire team at Signature Yachts has been wonderful to work with. Our salesman, Trevor MacLachlan is as knowledgeable a boater as you will ever hope to find and has provided us with excellent service during and after the sale.

The entire team at Signature actually works like one, if we have a question or problem anyone in the office jumps in to answer our questions or solve our problems. Scott, Andy, Brandon, Cesar and Tori as well as Dixie and Jodi are always accommodating and willing to answer my dumbest question! At our age this will probably be the last boat we buy, but things can change and if they do, I would never consider using anyone other than Signature.
